  Worst Customer Service Experience- don’t recommend I purchased a suit from Express for $368 and noticed a defect before completing the purchase. I pointed out the issue at the register and proceeded with the purchase. After inspecting the suit more carefully at home, I realized the defect was unacceptable for a new garment and returned to the store within the return period. Instead of addressing the issue, the store manager claimed the suit was in good condition and refused the return. Customer service then relied solely on the store manager’s version of events without conducting an independent review. I repeatedly requested that Express review the CCTV footage from the time of purchase, which may confirm that I identified the defect before completing the transaction. That request was never meaningfully addressed. What is most disappointing is that Express’s own return policy contains an exception for defective merchandise, yet no one has explained why that exception does not apply in my case. Rather than fairly investigating the issue, I felt my concerns were dismissed and responsibility was shifted onto me. I expected accountability and customer service. Instead, I spent weeks escalating a legitimate issue with no resolution.

  I went in to the store looking for good jeans. Express is good, however my checkout experience was different. When you walk into a store and it has BIG RED signs ALL OVER stating, but one get one 50% off EVERYTHING, one would expect that is the case. Upon check out, I was informed that sale was last week and someone didn’t take the signs down. What was suppose to be a 90 dollar purchase, turn out to be a 140 dollar purchase. Please do better or at least honor your advertising within the store. It’s ridiculous!
