The gentleman helping us at checkout seemed to be new and was still learning the system. We had questions about coupons and paying with an e gift card, so he asked another employee for help. Unfortunately, she responded to him in a very rude and dismissive way. She did not seem happy to help him at all, and after he still had questions, she simply walked away. I asked the gentleman for her name, and he said it very quietly. I believe her name was either Carla or Perla, but I’m not completely sure. It almost seemed like he was hesitant to say it because he didn’t want to get her in trouble. He was clearly trying his best to learn and help us, and I honestly felt bad for him. I understand employees can be busy, but everyone deserves patience and respect, especially someone who is new. This was very uncomfortable to watch and made our checkout experience very unpleasant.
