  Kerns Fine Jewelery is one of, if not the best Rolex ADs I’ve ever worked with. Special shoutout to Chris Catabay for helping me commemorate the birth of my firstborn daughter with the GMT-Master II that I’ve been eyeing for a long time at other ADs. I’ve worked with multiple ADs and the experience here was nothing short of first class. From the moment I walked through the doors I was greeted by every member of the team, including management, which already made this feel like a memorable visit. This was truly a white glove experience that I will tell my daughter about when she’s old enough you understand how the timepiece on my wrist is something she will one day inherit.

  I had an outstanding experience at Kerns Fine Jewelry thanks to Chris Catabay. From the moment I walked in, Chris was welcoming, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and patiently walked me through different options and answered all my questions. Chris made the entire process feel comfortable and never rushed me, and his attention to detail was impressive.

  I’ve lived in San Mateo County since 1994 and in Burlingame since 2022. I’ve been to Kerns in Burlingame at least half a dozen times over the past 18 months, most recently working with Chris. The in-store service is excellent. However, trying to actually purchase a timepiece — specifically a Rolex or Patek Philippe — has been an awful and frustrating experience. If I were advising a new watch buyer, I would recommend avoiding this store. Despite my efforts to build a relationship with this local authorized dealer, I’ve never once felt cared for or like I had any real chance of buying a watch. I’ve kept in touch via email and have returned to the store a reasonable number of times, yet I’ve never felt I was given a genuine opportunity. Maybe this is just “the game,” and these brands are notorious for prioritizing repeat customers. But you can’t become a repeat customer if you’re never given a chance to purchase in the first place. This isn’t a review written out of frustration over not being able to buy a five-figure timepiece. It’s an honest account of my experience trying to build a genuine relationship with Kerns.

  Very courteous staff , from greeting personnel to manager to SA . My sales guy was Chris . He went out of way to make my visit as pleasant as it could get . I went in and out in bout 10 minutes. ( I already knew what I wanted , a Tudor 39 mm ( new release ) . I was a bit in hurry and since watchmaker was out to lunch , Chris my SA although not his job rolled his sleeves and shorten the bracelet couple links and got me out in no time . Kerns I think is family run business and def they run a tight ship . I have dealt with their business few times and always been given a great service. Thank you Chris , and whole team .
