- EBEric BuringrudAug 5, 20262.0They require proof of current residency for dros paperwork, not at time of delivery like every other gun store I've been to and like it says on the penal code. I drove 3.5 hrs round trip to be told I needed my fishing license or registration to start the paperwork and waiting period. Canceled my purchase and went to a better shop. Waste of time that will never happen again because I'll never shop at sportsman warehouse in the future.

- MCMatt CampbellJul 25, 20261.0In-store seems ok, their online fulfillment and live customer service is a mess. Long hold times, untrained/offshore staff. Critically they push responsibility to the customer for their own errors. They shipped me the wrong fishing rod (it had someone else's order number and name on it, i feel bad for the guy) and told me i'd have to drive the 45 minutes to the store to exchange it for the right item. They were unable to directly ship me the actual item I ordered. I went with the refund option, but I wont see my money back until they receive the rod back then they add 7-10 days for processing, so call it ~20 days to receive a refund. i hate to keep funding bezos's yacht but i'll stick with amazon from now on
