- EEE5 days ago1.0Just go to Bass Pro I’ve been going to sportsman for a long time now. I’ve gotten all my guns, ammo, and gear at sportsman for the past 4 years. I went in today to get a holster and in hopes of purchasing a new rifle. Normally it’s super packed. Today was very slow and empty , emptiest I’ve ever seen it especially in the firearm section. I asked an employee for help in one of the aisles . He said to give him one second and he will help. I stood in the aisle for over 15 mins and the Mf never showed up. Should’ve known when he was eating and drinking Starbucks behind the register on the clock when I asked for help. Ruined my mood and decided to not purchase a damn thing. Seems like these guys are just getting lazier . And if you’re not knowledgeable just say so, don’t disappear. “Take pride in customer service “ my Ahhhhhss The other employees were just standing around doing nothing even looked over and didn’t offer help after they seen me ask their other coworker for help beforehand . Horribly managed staff and horrible customer service. This corporation is just paying people to be walking/standing ornaments I guess. Don’t expect much coming in here. Haven’t experienced this the couple times I’ve been to Bass Pro Shop. Time to switch over . Went over to the San Jose bass pro and was immediately welcomed in and assisted with great and knowledgeable customer service and was able to find what I needed there and even got a great deal on a new 308 even got an additional discount after they heard the bs from SW It was a good run, shout out to the past employees who were actual help and didn’t waste customers time or ignored them.

Wasted 4+ hours here just doing a dros and a pickup for a rifle I had to buy online because the gun counter guy didn’t want to order it from their own warehouse . Don’t come here unless you absolutely have too.

They expect everyone to know all their ridiculous and constantly changing procedures for just being able to talk to someone behind the counter. And they are NEVER willing to go out of their way to help you with something. Will not be shopping here anymore.
