- CCChloeJun 15, 20262.0I originally came to this Sunglass Hut location to exchange a pair of sunglasses I received as a gift because they were too large for my face. The replacement pair I was initially given already looked worn, with visible smudges and scratches. What bothered me most was that nobody appeared to inspect the sunglasses before handing them to me. When selling a product at full retail price, associates should make sure the item is in new, undamaged condition before completing the transaction. When I returned to ask whether they had a new pair available, an older lady employee told me that they only sell the display models. I found that hard to believe and was frustrated by the dismissive attitude I received when raising a legitimate concern. Customers should not be expected to pay full price for sunglasses that have been handled repeatedly and may already show signs of wear. Fortunately, a younger associate stepped in and actually took the time to help. He was able to locate a different boxed pair that appeared brand new, with no scratches or smudges. He completely turned the experience around and saved what would have otherwise been a one-star visit. My issue is not with the store itself, but with the inconsistency in customer service. One employee acted as though my concerns were unreasonable, while another quickly found a solution. The younger associate deserves recognition for providing the level of service I expected in the first place.

I was frustrated but Matt was super professional and showed great customer service and was able to navigate through the issue and get it resolved. please ask for him if/when you go! He is the best
