    Shopping at CHANEL is always a memorable experience, and this location certainly lives up to the brand’s reputation. The boutique is elegant, beautifully maintained, and showcases each collection perfectly. The associates were warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable, taking the time to explain different pieces while creating a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. Every interaction felt personal without ever feeling sales driven. The attention to detail, both in the products and the customer service, made this an experience that’s well worth the visit.

    I was paired with a sales advisor who kept saying it was a mistake for me to go to Rodeo drive location because their stock is absolutely horrible. I had a list of 9 (NINE) items I wanted to purchase and walked away with just one scarf. According to her, all the items are pre-sold to mega vip who spend a million dollars a year. I could not help but laugh honestly. During checkout , I asked for her business card so she can ship the rest of the items and she “politely “ turned me down. I also observed something interesting , customers who carried Hermes bags were 1000% treated better and with more respect.

    I am a Chanel customer and recently visited this Beverly Hills location to exchange a pair of shoes that I had purchased from the Montecito boutique. The gentlemen at the entrance were very welcoming and professional, but unfortunately my experience with the sales associate was disappointing. From the beginning, I felt as though helping me with the exchange was an inconvenience. The attitude was dismissive, and I was repeatedly told that this boutique is much larger and that inventory is limited, which did not feel relevant to my request. What stood out to me most was the difference in customer service compared to the Montecito boutique. Joey and the entire team there have always been warm, professional, and genuinely helpful. They consistently make customers feel valued and appreciated. Luxury retail is not just about products—it is about service. Whether a boutique is large or small, customers should receive the same level of courtesy and care. Unfortunately, this visit left me feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome. I hope management takes customer service more seriously, as it is the experience that keeps I will always be a Montecito customer. Joey and his team set the standard for what Chanel service should be. This location unfortunately falls far short of that standard.

    I was very disappointed with my experience. My friend and I arrived at the store and were told to get in line because we couldn’t go straight inside. We waited an hour before we could enter the store, and once we did, we were told that the shoes were on the second floor. So we went up there, looked around, and I picked up the pair I wanted to try on. There were two sales associates busy when we arrived, but after 10 minutes, the customers left. The sales associate went to put the shoes away in the stockroom; she looked us in the eye before leaving and never came back from the stockroom. We waited for 30 minutes without anyone coming to see us. I myself have worked as a sales associate in the luxury sector; I’ve never done that, and I’ve never seen that. Quick sales, yes, without small talk or special attention, but I’d never seen a sales associate ignore a customer.

    We were visiting from San Francisco with the intention of purchasing cosmetics and a handbag. Peggy, our sales associate, immediately shifted her demeanor during our appointment. After we finished selecting cosmetics, we began browsing ready to wear and handbags, and Peggy commented that we were “looking too fast,” which felt unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. At the end of the appointment, my husband attempted to pay, and Peggy stated that he could not because the card had to match the account. This has never been an issue at any other Chanel location we have shopped at. Peggy was extremely unpleasant and passive aggressive throughout the interaction, and the experience felt far from the level of service expected from Chanel. To conclude the appointment, Peggy did not even bother to direct us toward the exit or thank us for visiting. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience.
