  What a great experience. I came in to replace a lost pair of Ray-Bans and walked out with two pairs I love and an afternoon that was a lot of fun, which is not a sentence I ever expected to write about shopping for eyewear. Taylor and Paulina are the reason. I tend to find this kind of shopping stressful, and they put me at ease right away. I had a loose idea of what I wanted but stayed open, and they were endlessly patient. I tried on close to 20 pairs over about 90 minutes and never once felt rushed or like I was overstaying my welcome. The best part was how real they were. They each had their own take and didn't always agree with each other, so I knew I was getting honest opinions instead of a sales pitch. Their product knowledge backed it up. I showed Taylor a photo of a pair from an ad and he named the exact brand and style on the spot. Turns out they do monthly training on new lines, and you can tell. I ended up with two statement pieces, the Ray-Ban Wayfarer Puffer (the A$AP Rocky design) and a pair of Dolce & Gabbana, and the buy-one-get-one deal made the second pair 40% off. Both feel elevated and head-turning, exactly what I was after. If you're at the 2nd Street location, ask for Taylor and Paulina. Worth the trip.
