- MJM JMay 10, 20263.0Nordstrom Rack in Bakersfield is an average experience compared to the other Nordstrom Racks across this beautiful state of California. This Nordstrom Rack has plenty of inventory it just happens to be average, overpriced items that can be found at the TJ Maxx right next door or somewhere between Marshalls and Kohls. Today was probably one of the few times that I actually was looking for a pair of shoes and they happen to be some hocus I don't believe Nordstrom Rack does price matching when they add their stickers to their products but a lot of their products are overpriced whether something is on sale or not is debatable. Today I was looking for On clouds or Hokas for my upcoming trip. The Nordstrom Rack usually has comparable prices to online at the on store or even the Hoka store but after researching several items including the one in the pictures below there's no reason to shop at Nordstrom Rack anymore, instead shop online and save 10 to 20%. I really do understand sales price meaning Hoka can run better sales in most cases as the manufacturer but most items are overpriced in Nordstrom Rack. Ralph Lauren polo shirts two to three years old are still running $70 even more expensive than the outlet price, basically Nordstrom Rack is overpriced in my opinion and this one in Bakersfield has given me reason to continue to go.

Someone is fraudulently using my late Mother’s account and neither Nordstrom nor TD Bank (Nordstrom credit card servicer) were any help when I called to report this yesterday. My mother has these fraudulent charge receipts in her email going back to December 2024. She passed away in March and purchases were made this week in person in Bakersfield CA. The fraud department would not even cut off access to the card before I faxed her death certificate. Still haven’t heard back from them. Stay away from Nordstrom and especially their credit card if you care about your financial security!
