  I was very disappointed with my experience at Downtown Disney Sunglass Hut. From the moment we walked in, the customer service was lacking. We stood at the counter waiting to be helped while several employees ignored us. It took far longer than it should have for anyone to acknowledge us. When we were finally being helped, the experience became even more frustrating. In the middle of our transaction, the employee assisting us, Armando, left us at the register to help another family and complete their entire purchase before returning to finish ours. Being left mid-transaction made us feel like our time and business were not valued. Unfortunately, the experience only got worse at checkout. After returning to finish our purchase, Armando looked at my total of $68 and said, “You know what’s better than 68?” before laughing. This is a well-known sexual joke and was completely inappropriate to make to a customer. It was unprofessional, disrespectful, and made us feel extremely uncomfortable. Customers should be able to shop without being ignored, left in the middle of a transaction, or subjected to inappropriate comments from employees. I expect a much higher level of professionalism from a retailer representing premium brands. I hope management addresses both the poor customer service and this employee’s behavior so other customers do not have a similar experience.

  I visited this location today for a 50% off sale. I was in the store for about 15 mins and I was spoken to and approached 11 times by workers at this location. It got to a point where it became annoying. I'm not sure if I was being profiled but this made my experience extremely uncomfortable.

  I totally appreciated Dani’s help and professional care visiting Sunglass Hut at Downtown Disney this past weekend. Dani is amazing. She connected me with my first magnifying reading glasses, which ends up, is what I needed at the moment, that I didn’t realize existed. Her story and passion to help others avoid what she went through herself, almost going blind from innocuous sun glare exposure, and saving her eyesight by wearing appropriate sunglasses, was highly inspiring. She clear has a joy about her, doing what she loves, in helping others support their eye health at Sunglass Hut and help one hopefully avoid what she went through herself. If you happen to be at Downtown Disney, I highly recommend connecting with Dani if you need sunglasses or magnifying reading glasses. Deep appreciation Dani for your story and caring energy. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
