  This is for their online store, which I recommend everyone avoid. I placed an order last Wednesday (8/26) for a pair of Kid’s Kiziks. They are the only shoes my son will wear and they can be hard to find. They were expected to arrive 9/2. The day after placing my order, I received a notification the shoes were on their way and to track them via the Shop app. No information was available that way, but that’s not uncommon with Shop. Five days later, after being charged in full and without any communication from the store, I received a notice that my order was canceled. When I contacted the store, via some random gmail address, Tim responded saying he had been trying to reach me because the shoe size and color were missing, and told me to call him. He did not provide a phone number, nor did he ever leave a voicemail or send me an email about the allegedly “missing” information. I sent him a screenshot of the invoice I received from him that showed both the size and color, and also advised that I was confused why I was being prompted to “tip to show appreciation for the team” since this was an online retail transaction where zero service has been provided. I assumed whoever created the invoice/online checkout just didn’t disable that option in the app. In response, Tim said, “thank you for sharing your opinion about the tipping option”, confirming the tip prompt was intentional. He then confirmed the store did not have the shoes and waited five days to cancel. I understand stores sometimes fail to update inventory and while that is frustrating, the owner’s entitlement to gratuity when he cannot provide even average service baffles me. At this point, I’ve had to order new shoes that my son will be without for a week, and I’m told that my refund from Comfy Shoes will be processed in ten business days. I should have canceled the transaction when I saw the tip request. Hopefully others can learn from my mistake.

  Comfy Shoes Has the most thoughtful employees, huge variety of women’s shoes, and competitive prices. I bought one pair of sandals and will definitely return when I need more shoes.

  I pass this shop on a daily basis and always thought it was for specialty footwear only. I found out that the shop carries a brand called Altra when I was looking up wide toe box shoes online. I hate buying shoes online because the fit of every different brand and even different styles of the same brand are so different. Went in to check them out and was greeted by a very knowledgeable and patient staff. The shop is welcoming and has a wide selection of comfortable shoes for all different types of needs. They have adult and children’s shoes. They carry so many different brands. The coolest thing is that they carry Kiziks, which my husband LOVES. I do want to mention that the shoes are mid to high price point, BUT they seem to have sales on different brands often which is great. I picked up a pair of house shoes from OrthoFeet that feel like I’m walking on a cloud but offer a ton of support. Pair of Kizik’s with a wide toe box for everyday wear. And a pair of Altras for exercising. I’m so excited to have this store nearby. I’ve always bought shoes without considering how comfortable they are and it has finally caught up with me. I have nerve pain in my feet, legs, and lower back from decades of wearing shoes that scrunch my toes. I can’t wait to go back and buy some cute shoes for the office. 1000% recommend checking this place out if you are looking for cute, comfortable shoes for the whole family. And if you’re experiencing any unexplained, undiagnosable lower body or back pain, get a pair of shoes from here, your whole body will thank you!
