- RARuben AguirreMay 11, 20261.0Avoid this company at all costs. The staff is great, no complaints there. They just do the installation. They are friendly and pretty understanding when it comes to all of the issues. The actual company that provides the interlock device, Low Cost interlock, is a pile of hot garbage and I write this to hopefully prevent others that might fall into their trap. I am on my third handset and this one is starting to fail now. Be prepared for faulty equipment, inaccurate violations, having to give a sample repeatedly within minutes from the last sample and the absolute worst costumer service agents that will gaslight you until they give in and send you a new unit. Today I received a $60 missed calibration fee on the actual date of calibration. I had to call their customer service line and get transferred three times in order to get it sorted. Each call can take around 30 minutes or longer if they even answer. Be prepared to lose an absurd amount of work hours and possibly lose your job over having to show up at the installation center repeatedly to deal with the numerous handset issues. Not to mention the absurd amount of times I have had to call them during work hours. This is and will more than likely will be a huge inconvenience until it is removed. Which if you you receive a letter that you might be eligible to remove the device after only 6 months, keep in mind that all of the faulty reports go straight to the MVD and is "out of their hands".
