  I used to LOVE to shop at Penneys at Tucson Mall. What happened? The store is so different. Nothing is in order! What a mess! Looks junkie, messy, the items look cheap. Sorry, I could not find anything worth buying.

  Last week I went for a haircut to JCPenney salon at the Tucson Mall and I was amazed by the hard work and dedication with which all the employees work there. They're kind gesture of giving a deal for the students and teacher this summer is beyond appreciation. I love their service and I would love to go next time again thank you so much.

  I came in to find a pair of shoes and found a black pair of sneakers in the clearance area. Unfortunately there was no tag or box for it. I went to the front desk to get a price check, Raquel told me I had to wait in line, so I did. Once I made it to the front, another customer came up and Janet then told me she was going to help her before me. I explained that I needed a simple price check and she said they were going to have to look it up and I needed to wait for Raquel, because she was going to help the other customer (mind you there was no one behind me so the customer could have simply waited) I wait for Raquel, who is helping the customer sign up for a credit card, which took a long time. Once I made it to Raquel’s register she then told me she couldn’t look the price up and I would have to have Judith from the shoe department help me. We then walked around the store looking for Judith, who was nowhere to be found. Then Raquel says she’s going to call the manager over and to wait in the shoe area. We waited and no one came, Raquel called for the manager multiple times. After going and letting Raquel know we still hadn’t been helped, she then left the register and saw Judith in a different department. Then Judith helps us and finally the manager comes, Judith then tells us that the price is $22. She then didn’t give me any info, so I took a photo of the screen of her tablet. I go to the front and they didn’t have any info (thank goodness I thought ahead and took the photo) then they tell me two different prices ($86 and $50 something) Finally they call Judith over and the final price was around $40. This was the first and last time I will be going back to this location. This experience made me understand why some locations have shut down, when I talked to friends about this situation, they have also had similar experiences at JCPennys. Jojo the manager did not have a positive demeanor or good customer service about the situation. Raquel was the only slightly helpful one, but it’s ridiculous how hard she had to push just to get me some help. If it weren’t for my kid wanting the shoes so bad I would have left and not made the purchase. I think the worst part was after having waited almost an hour for a price check, they asked me if I wanted to sign up for a credit card afterwards. Read the room.

  Horrible for pick up orders. I missed my pick up window by one day. That’s entirely my fault. It took 8 calls to the mall and one unhelpful call to the 1800 number. I finally got ahold of someone in store and they were able to tell me the curtains were there. I got in the pick up line and was told I was in the wrong spot. Moved to a new spot as directed, then was skipped over and was told to go the original spot i started in as pictured . Absolutely awful in store pick up experience. The rest of the store seemed fine enough.

  Excellent store,location, prices. Love the sales. I've been shopping at JCPENNY for a very long time. Seen alot of changes. It is a pleasure to still have them around. Very hard working employees. I do appreciate when the cashier ask us if we would like to apply for a credit card however once is enough . It becomes annoying to be asked more than once. It will help us as customers to be more relaxed and not be bothered by over excitable employees doing their job. I always get great deals,the clothes fit right, my favorite brand names. I will continue to shop at JCPENNY for a long time. Keep up the excellent work 💯
