  Youre a Racist store. Mary Nell Maddox racially profiled a gentleman at your Scottsdale location. I will not be shopping at Nordstrom until Mary Nell is fired.

  Visited the fragrance department tonight looking for a new perfume. 2 employees were great, unfortunately I didn't get their names. Pairi, however, was the opposite of what I would expect from a customer facing employee at Nordstrom. If the attitude I got from her tonight is consistent daily, I'm shocked that it's permitted. I walked up to Pairi and a male employee, explaining that I noticed there wasn't a box behind one of the perfumes I was interested in and I began to ask if they had it in stock in the back when Pairi cut me off (which is rude in and of itself) and asked "Which one?" with the most rude and impatient tone I have heard from any employee at this mall. I think the workers in the food court present themselves to their customers in a more appropriate and respectful manner than Pairi. I was taken aback. The male employee quickly took over the interaction and Pairi took off somewhere else. He explained earlier that day someone had been looking for the perfume I was asking about and that they were out of stock but had it online, I thanked him and that was it. As someone who has had several customer and client facing jobs over the years, the tone that Pairi addressed me with was not one that I would ever use toward someone who was in the middle of asking a simple question, even if I already knew what was coming. I would expect that an older woman like Pairi would know how to conduct herself in a customer service position, especially somewhere like Nordstrom, but I guess not.

  I hate leaving 1 star reviews, especially since I work in the industry, however, the experience my wife and I had in the handbag department needs to be known by management. We walk in, with the intention to compare a few handbags my wife was interested in, and didn’t receive a greeting. Next, we find the 3 handbags she wants to compare, we’re interacting with the product and receive no help or acknowledgment from 2-3 associates just huddled around. It was obvious we were ready to buy one (and maybe a 2nd if the sales associate sold us on it) but since we received no help whatsoever, we left and ordered it online directly from the designer. As someone who works in luxury retail management, I’m shocked we received no service or help from a premier retailer such as Nordstrom. My whole career, your company has been used as a case study in what quality service means, and unfortunately we didn’t experience that. As someone in management, I would want to know if my teams are not performing to the level of excellence we demand.

  Mary Nell Maddox, count your days as a manager. You are all over the internet with your stalking over race videos. I will not return to this Nordstrom until I know you’re removed. Racism will not be tolerated as someone who is white, I will not stand for that anywhere. Do better.
