Best place for guns and ammo. I know people might prefer smaller storefronts. But you can order most of what you need online and pick it up in store that day or later in the week

Customer service at the gun counter needs improvement. Was waiting patiently to purchase a red dot and no one would help me. (11:30am Monday morning, store not busy) Also I would recommend if you’re gonna have a person posted up at the front door like a Walmart greeter, have them say hi and bye to customers! Not just stare blankly…it’s lame and creepy. (*Mgmt you can check your cameras today between 11:30-12:00 today if you want to see for yourself)

Yesterday, Sportsman's began advertising summer deals on its website. One of which was for a firearm I was looking to buy for ~7% off. So I went into the store to purchase the item. Despite the firearm being in front of me on the counter, and the associate confirming it was for sale on the website, he was unable to sell it to me for the discounted price and the manager denied the override. Waste of time. I went to Bass Pro and they price matched me and offered me an additional 5% off for Sportsman's inconvenience.

I recently purchased an item from Sportsman's Warehouse and spent over $100 on it while I was on vacation in Lakeside. Unfortunately, when I got home, I discovered that the product was not compatible with the rest of my equipment and was never used. When I attempted to return it, I was told that because I was just over the 30-day return window, no exception could be made. To be clear, this is not a criticism of the employees at the local store—they were simply following company policy. My frustration is with Sportsman's Warehouse as a company. Many retailers are willing to work with loyal customers when it comes to unused merchandise, especially when the return is only slightly outside the stated return period. In this case, no accommodation was offered, which was disappointing given the amount of money I have spent there over the years on products that I have never returned. Because of this experience, I will likely take my business elsewhere in the future and recommend retailers that place a higher value on customer relationships and satisfaction rather than strictly enforcing return policies without considering the circumstances. It's unfortunate, because I have enjoyed shopping there in the past, but this experience has changed my opinion of the company.
