  WHAT A NICE SURPRISE THIS WAS!!! WENT IN AND FOUND A NEW BIBLE TODAY AND ALL SORTS OF NEW AND USED BOOKS. THE EMPLOYEES WERE FRIENDLY AND A SHOUT OUT TO THE MAN IN THE NAVY SHIRT FOR HELPING ME, I DIDN'T CATCH YOUR NAME.

  I am offloading a good amount of my book collection before we move out of state and have been to the selling counter 4 or 5 times in the past month. They are so friendly, professional, and speedy! We go during their slowest windows. We have also made a few in-store purchases and are super happy with the condition and price of the books. Could you make more money selling books individually online or through marketplace? Maybe. But if you are looking for a quicker option like us, try it out!

  I love shopping at Half Price Books and visit often for both my personal reading and classroom books. They have a great selection, reasonable prices, and I can usually find something new to add to my collection. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the store is well organized and easy to browse. It's one of my favorite places to find quality books while staying within budget. Highly recommend for book lovers and teachers alike!

  Great old style bookstore. Even has that classic book smell and vibe. All books are very well categorized with easy to read signage hanging from the ceiling or along walls. They have so many genres & lots of children’s books. The also sell boxed games, calendars, records, cassettes & other unique stuff. They just local authors most Saturdays which is really great for self published or first time authors. My only knock is how little they pay for used books & records. ( why 4 stars) But that’s there gig so it is what it is. You can walk out with an armful of stuff for a good price. Nice sitting area too. And the staff are all very knowledgeable & extremely friendly. Located at 6339 E. Southern Ave Mesa, Az 85206
