Had the most ridiculous experience trying to buy a department 56 snow village item. For one, a thrift store charging $40 for an item they got for free is ridiculous. Second of all, it was locked in a case and we had to get someone to open it for us. First we asked a man who said he would get someone for us, and then completely blew us off. We then asked a woman to open it for us, and she came over and did it, and acted very confused the entire time and EXTREMELY SLOWLY opened the case. I wanted to look at some of the other items in the case, and she asked if we could “take it one item at a time” while all I was trying to do was look in the case (as many items were hidden where you couldn’t see them) , not grab multiple items. Again, at a ridiculously slow pace she takes out the item, then writes me a ticket for it (it is a small item, not furniture) and tells me I have to leave it with her and take the ticket to go buy the item in the front, and then come back to her to grab the item. I got up to the cashier and she seems very confused by the entire thing and tells me I could have brought the item up to the register. The entire situation was ridiculous and I was made to feel like a criminal and wait an insane amount of time to buy something. If you’re going to give someone a key to open a case make sure they know what they are doing!!

Awesome place. Mormons rule. Prices are insane. A true thrift store. Don’t really like telling people about this place because I don’t want everybody going here and buying my crap

Mediocre pieces of clothing. The decent bunch is grouped directly on the racks behind the registers, don’t bother on the outskirt racks in the store.
Women, if your style is mature and you like loud prints with synthetic fabric, this is your jam. Not too many options when it comes to natural fiber clothing nor to build a basic wardrobe.
Men, you have to pick through the misplaced women’s clothing in your section to find your actual sizes.
Prices have inflated with the times, seeing as a basic t-shirt is tagged at $5-$6, when they used to be $2-$3 in 2019.
I almost gave this store 2 stars but the staff were amazing and they have a neat selection of books.
Best bet is to make the trek to the Gilbert location on Williams Field & Val Vista.
Happy thrifting!
