  Great looking housewares for sale at a decent price. I've been shopping here for years with my mother in-law. We all moved up here from Florida about 12 years ago. Belk is huge in Florida, so it makes us feel right at home

  Belk provides great selection of merchandise at oftentimes very discounted prices. Sadly, on my last 2 visits to Belk (different locations), I found it nearly impossible to find someone to check me out and take my payment. Customer service desks were almost all vacant.

  Deceptive sales and advertising practices. They double MSRP and then mark that 40% off and they still sell it for 10% more than retail. Be careful when shopping here and really check your prices. I spent $704.82 here on clothing and other things for my 5 month old granddaughter as well as a few things for myself. I had never even heard of Belk before much less gone into one so I was excited to see they carried some of the more higher end baby clothing brands and almost everything was 40-60% off! I take 100% responsibility for not paying attention and not even looking at prices while I shopped, especially being as I am an authorized retailer for a lot of these brands as well as a wholesaler and distributor for some of them as well. I didn’t start to pay attention until I got everything home and noticed these crazy MSRP price tags on their baby clothing. I’m very familiar with Bonnie Baby, Little One, and Rare Editions so had I been paying attention, I would have caught it as I put things in my cart. I noticed that a few of the outfits had an MSRP tag that was very expensive for that line, $69 to be exact. I even double checked with Dillard’s who had the exact same outfit in the same size and the MSRP listed was $39.99. Another major scam was their variety box of Sees Candy Assorted Lollypop box. Belk has MSRP as $54 and charged me $43 saying it was 20% off. Sees Candy list full retail price as $34.50. So Belk charges me $9 more than retail and tried to make it seem like I got 20% off. Yes, I fully acknowledge that it is up to me as the consumer to research it myself and decide whether or not I want to buy something and nobody forced me to buy anything, but I just want to warn other people about their deceptive practices. If you find things you like simply type the brand name and brief description into google and you can see what it is being sold for everywhere else, including the brands website. I have yet to find one single item that was less than retail, even after all of their sales and discounts. It’s very deceptive on Belk’s part to do this and I will be inquiring with the brands directly about why the discrepancy in MSRP across various retailers. I know this may make me seem like a Karen, but as an authorized retailer and wholesaler, I just don’t appreciate the deceptive practices. You’re spending more at Belk than you would be spending the money directly with a retailer Go get more For your money by shopping elsewhere.

  My wife went into the dressing and came out to show me the outfit. As she went back and employee had my wife's hat on and put my wife's personal clothes on a rack to hang up in store
