- JPJacob PriestJun 12, 20261.0A firearm store should be clear on their own rules, and not treat customers like criminals. I came into bass pro to check holster fits. I brought my pistol, unloaded, no magazine, trigger locked, and inside a case. I ask the entrance counter how to proceed with coming inside. They said “is it empty? You’re good to go!” After being on the holster aisle for 15 minutes, very obviously carrying a gun case around, a worker comes by and snatches the case out of my hands. I’m escorted to the front of the store like a thief, treated like I snuck in, to declare my firearm. That thing I asked about at the beginning…I’ll never be back to a Bass Pro again.
