As for retailers bass pro was about the best. They use to carry ammo for a lot of the old sporting calibers but now are more catering to newer ones a prime example tgere was not a single box of 7x57 or 280 rem on the shelves or spots for them but they had 7mm prc and 280 Ackley improved. Fishing sections are the same. A color we you Cranberry we had bought there numerous times before no longer stocked but the new uni was.

i was honestly just stopping in to kill time but ended up finding exactly what i needed for my fishing trip. the staff at the counter knew their stuff and helped me pick out the right lures without trying to upsell me on anything. place is huge, like you could get lost in there for an hour and still find new stuff. prices felt pretty fair too, didnt feel like i was getting ripped off. definitely a store where you can actually enjoy browsing instead of just grabbing things and leaving. ill be back next time im in the area for sure.

They are lying to the customers saying sign up for a free membership and we will give you a free hat, tool and other stuff. It's a credit card NOT a bass pro membership. The way they did it was very deceiving (including) trying to skip over the info about what you are signing up for. Makes me not want to shop there anymore.

Inattentive employee and one employee who asked if I needed help stood there with a confused look on his face. Returned a fish finder because I thought it didn't work. Explained what I did to trouble shoot the problem. He all but belittled my intelligence. I asked if he had a replacement in stock, which by the way he acted, it was an effort on his part to go to the store room and get one. He stopped to talk with another employee and a customer before going to the back. I told my wife maybe we should go to the customer service desk and ask for our money back. He finally returned with another fish finder. I personally don't think the employee new many more (maybe less) than I did about fish finders. Unfortunately all it seems to them is a job. They don't have to know anything about the merchandise in their assigned department. I have shopped at this bass pro since it opened up. May have to start making the 200+ mile trip to Springfield to do my shopping or quit shopping at bass pro altogether.

Absolutely disgusting experience. Me and my brothers went in to look for shoes, and as soon as we walked through the door, a white man stopped us and asked if we were 18 or older. Since when do you have to be 18 just to walk into a store? Last time I checked, Bass Pro Shops doesn’t have an age requirement to shop. The entire time we were there, white employees kept staring at us. An older white lady with glasses followed us around the store, and they even sent two employees outside to watch us. We were treated like criminals for simply trying to shop. I’ve never felt so unwelcome in a business. Whether they admit it or not, it felt like we were singled out because we were Black. I will never be returning, and I would not recommend this location to other Black customers.
