  UPDATE: I'm sure the short reply is from the manager I mentioned in my review, as its the vaguest reply to any negative review. I will call customer service again. Where to start; NO greeting when I walked in...looked around and found what I needed. On the app, the item was 21.44 versus 39.99 in store so I placed a online order. I walked to checkout, the two people at the registers helping other people(took about 10 min) I understand as I work retail as well. The absolute appalling part was when the two cashiers were free not ONE said "Can we help you?" Or "come on up"...so I said HOW ARE YA'LL TODAY? and was looked at like a complete idiot. I explained to the female cashier I placed the order online but had to try them on first, plus the price was better online. All I got was stone cold looks and replies. I physically handed the exact pants(last pair) to the female associate...I still had to wait TWO HOURS to pick up one pair of pants. In that two hours I called customer service to inform them. I walk back in at 6 pm, after placing the order at 4:01-4:02...the manager that gets called to the front is the male cashier that looked at me like a moron the first time around. My question to BOTH extremely rude people..How would you feel if shopping in my store, and I ignored you and or looked at you sideways?? No WONDER a lot of JCP are shutting down. This was PITIFUL

  Trussville j c Penney was a very nice store. The associates that helped me were very friendly. Got some good deals also.

  Went to J C Penny, Trussville, on memorial day 2026, There was supposed to be a sale. There was a lot of off stuff, no better than Walmart. I will only order online and pick up at store. It was not a good experience if you are aware of human nature. I had to laugh at the shenanigans l watch watched. I brought what I bought back. You are losing a lot of customers, JC PENNY.

  went earlier today after stopping by yesterday to buy a watch that was put on hold for me. one blonde white woman and one black woman were at the register when I asked for directions about picking it up. they both just stared at me snickering making side eyes to each other, till one of them told me to go to the jewelry stand to pick it up. I feel like that whole interaction was very weird and made me feel not welcomed. However the jewelry person who attended me was very sweet and kind about picking up my watch.

  I went during the week so it wouldn't be busy, but I couldn't find summer capris and I couldn't get help from any associate from the store.
