- PWPat WalkerMar 26, 20265.0Worst customer service ever. The two women working the registers near bedding need some training. Started counting out a drawer while customers needed to be checked out. I finally just left my stuff and walked out the door. To add to the response from JCPenney - there WERE cashiers available. They just chose to ignore the customers. And don’t bother calling the 1-800 number. That will frustrate you even more. Updated review. I was contacted by the local GM. Very nice man. He will be addressing the situation and hopefully no one else will experience this same behavior. I will give this location another try when I travel to this area again.

Unfortunately, the experience took a negative turn when a woman named Jamie approached the representative in an extremely rude and unprofessional manner. Instead of addressing customer or store safety concerns, she was more focused on speaking disrespectfully to an employee on the sales floor. Given that this store is located in an area where safety is already a concern, management behavior like this is troubling. Employees should be treated with respect, especially in front of customers. Poor management conduct overshadowed what could have been a positive experience.
