  Went into this Madewell today and they had the WORST customer service. The ladies working ignored me completely and kept whispering to each other and not helping customers. They weren't busy at all and when I asked for help with an item they had an attitude because I interrupted their conversation. Their clothing is great, but they really need to improve their hiring practices and training.

  People were nice , but was not impressed with the quality of the jeans. Sizes varied from style to style, and there weren't that many to choose from. Denim was either flimsy or stiff. Was disappointed.

  I visited Madewell and unfortunately had a horrible experience with Doris. Her attitude throughout my interaction with her felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I’ve always associated Madewell with really friendly, elevated customer service so this interaction caught me off guard and was a huge disappointment to say the least. Kindness and professionalism make such a difference and this experience didn’t reflect that, or what I expect going into the store. Overall, horrible experience.

  I had such a great experience at Madewell! The store is beautifully laid out, and has such a relaxed, elevated vibe. The team was incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful without being pushy, exactly what I want when shopping. They made great recommendations and took the time to help me find the perfect fit, especially with denim (which can be a struggle). Everything felt very curated, and the quality is exactly what you expect from Madewell. A lot of timeless pieces that you’ll actually wear over and over again. Such a great addition to Bridge Street. I’ll definitely be back!

  Me and My mom and niece visited the store earlier today, the store manager and the sales associate didn't greet or offer to help us. But greeted and offered help to everyone else that came in after us! I guess it was the color of our skin. And my mom really wanted this purse I had showed her online, but I told her not to buy it since the customer service was absolutely horrible. You never know what ppl can afford based off their skin color. Maybe next time the service will be better.
