  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE This was easily one of the most ridiculous and unprofessional return experiences I’ve ever had. I purchased my scrubs on July 17th and came back to return them on August 17th, The employee initially processed one set of scrubs before I left. I had to go back home because I realized some of my other tops were missing, find them, and come back to the store with the rest. I also had another bag of older clothes that were never worn and I still had the receipt, she denied that return, ok understandable it was way out of date, I took the loss and I didn’t press the issue. I’m not the “Karen” type..I know how it feels to work in customer service and deal with these kinds of situations! When I returned, the SAME employee started going through everything, and claimed a pants scrubs was missing? then suddenly pulled out a calendar and started counting days, telling me it had been 31 days because “July has 31 days.” At that point, she tried to refuse the rest of my return. Then I asked for the second manager, and the two of them proceeded to bicker with each other over the situation right in front of me. It was extremely unprofessional and honestly embarrassing to watch. The second manager ultimately got the situation resolved because, quite frankly, the entire argument was petty and unnecessary, and guess what! She found the “missing” pants scrub in the bag 🙄 apparently the first employee was a manager too, something I had NO idea about because she certainly did not conduct herself like one. A manager should be able to handle a basic customer return professionally instead of turning it into an argument and making a customer feel like they’re doing something wrong. What made it even worse was her attitude and the remarks she made, including telling me that I could “go back to the original store I purchased them from.” Like… why would I need to go somewhere else when this store was on my way home from work and I was already standing in said Citi Trends attempting to make a return according to the company’s policy? The fact that I had to come back after already leaving, deal with someone pulling out a calendar to argue over ONE DAY, get told to go back to another location, and then watch two managers bicker before someone finally resolved the issue is absolutely ridiculous. Customer service should not be this difficult over a return that was ONE DAY past the 30-day window. Citi Trends seriously needs to do better with how management handles customers.
