  Was perfectly fine being the next in line but an associate pulled me out to go to another one that was closed. Went to another one and it was closed. She sent me to fine jewelry and there was a longer line than what I was in originally, I could have been checked out by now. So I was sent to another one and the make up manager pulled me out of line and sent me to another line where I was once again the 3rd b person in line!!!! STOP PULLING PEOPLE OUT OFF LINE TO GO TO ANOTHER ONE!!!! I WENT TO 6 DIFFERENT REGISTERS BEFORE I FINALLY GOT CHECKED OUT. I was fine being at the first register that I went to. Jesus Christ, checking people out cannot be that difficult!!!!!

  **Horrible Customer Service – Employee Rushed Line, Lied, and Ruined an Exchange** I am beyond furious with the service I received at this Belk location. I went to the register in the tween clothing section because there was no open customer service desk. The moment I walked up, the associate immediately copped an attitude, snapped at me, and said, "I’m here by myself and there are people behind you!" I told her flat out that they could wait just like I did. It only got worse from there. I handed her my return receipts and explicitly, repeatedly told her that I wanted to apply the return value directly toward ordering a pair of Birkenstocks to be shipped to my house. Instead of listening, she completely ignored my instructions, rushed the transaction, and processed it as a straight refund anyway. When I called her out and asked why she did that, she blatantly lied to my face and claimed the system "couldn't do that." Major department stores absolutely allow you to apply a return receipt balance to an online order. She was just lazy, didn't want to be bothered, and wanted to clear her line. Because of her utter incompetence, my funds are now locked up in banking limbo for 7-10 business days, I am left empty-handed without the shoes, and I don't even have the shorts. Management needs to address this worker's terrible attitude and lack of basic training immediately.

  Hello. I wanted to share my recent experience at Belk. A lady by the name of Francine was very rude to me and my family. My cousin and I were browsing the perfumes and she adamantly refused to let us pass through an aisle while stating, "there is nothing for y'all to look at here". We were just wanting to cross through the aisle to reach through to the makeup section and she continuously kept arguing with us saying we can't cross through the aisle. And in the end, she said "but if you just need to cross, you can do that", which is what we were wanting to do to begin with. The entire time she spoke to us in a loud and annoyed voice, which could be heard throughout the store. Then, when my brother came up to us, also browsing the perfumes, she proceeded to be very rude about which perfume belonged to which artist and that those perfumes only belonged to women, which obviously he knew that. Throughout the entire conversation with him, she was still being loud and aggressively being in his face about it. She was only nice once he mentioned he was browsing for our niece and that's when she started saying "oh you should bring her by and also look check these out too". We just wanted to share this experience and hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. Because we know she was capable of being nice since she was nice to other guests nearby.
