    The place that installed amazing but the machine itself you have to blow in it every 5 minutes even while your driving so I almost had a wreck yesterday and not a very good tool the court uses they need to come up with something better you cannot be driving and blowing into machine while your driving every five minutes

    Went to remove my smart start and found this company rigged my machine to the starter and took out my 30 amp box fuse so my car won’t start without it and I paid them $220.00 to install it. The irony of being ready to have this off and the negligence in which they installed this is appallingly illegal as it’s a fire hazard.

    This experience should have, and could have been better. First, the good: the installation looks great and the machine is functional. Also, the staff was friendly enough. The bad: I was disappointed and inconvenienced to have an installation appointment only to be told upon arrival that I should have a ride home because the product was something the technicians squeezed in between other customer installations. I do not live close to this shop and I had no ride home arranged. The job was completed seven hours later. The finished price was not what I was quoted upon drop-off, the checkout price was almost double what I was quoted. And, finally, when the unit did not work upon checkout because of my own inability to activate the machine, I was afforded no explanation on how to proceed with my referring agency to remedy the situation. I believe this was due to a training deficiency on the part of the staff, not because they did not care about my distress. I think this is probably a terrific shop for audio installation, but they seemed to have little experience with SmartStart technology.
