I’m not sure who is in charge of the salon supply’s but my wife has been getting perms there for at least two years and every time the chemical goes down her back and is very uncomfortable because they do not have proper smocks to protect the consumer. She has very sensitive skin and I will not let her go back there for the next perm.

I was at JC Penny's in Waco Texas today early this morning and was treated unprofessional and racial profiled. I asked for someone to do measurements on my granddaughter for a bra. I was told by one of the associates to wait while she found someone. A person that I assumed was the manager or general manager made phone contact to someone who was a manager (which I found later) who told myself and granddaughter that "because of COVID she was not able to do the measurements". I requested to speak to a manager and Lord behold up came the lady who had stated because of COVID she was not able to take the measurements. I stated to her that that was untrue because protection rules about COVID has been over and I felt she was discriminating. She started telling me some lame excuse that she had misunderstood her boss is the reason she said what she said. Want be going back to JC Penny's.

I recently bought about $1000.00 and then some on bedding without buying a bed because I love myself and am worth every penny I spend on myself and then some. The ladies I usually deal with in the day time at JC Penney`s are the best and who are the ones who got me to spending money however I came back during the evening to return a $49.00 matress protector which made the bed extreamly hard and the lady I never saw before who apparently works at night said she would help me but said it very condesendly and with an attitude and I didn`t know why as I wasn`t rude or anything. She then proceeded to ask me to wait while she helped others who arived after me so I waited despite being pushed to the side thinking I don`t think this woman is going to help me at all and wondering why. After she finished with them she continued to ignore me until I said is there someone that can help me like the manager and she said I will call him but acted like she didn`t know how and once again went about doing other things so I decided to call the night manager as it was about 6-7 pm and I didn`t want to wait any further and when she saw me call him amazingly then she called him just fine and was saying something I couldn`t hear to him. I figured she must have me confused with someone else as I never saw her before but when the Manager showed up he kept giving me excuses as to why he couldnt do a return even when I showed him jc pennies policy on returns up to 60 days, he then shifted saying the product was used asking me if I opened the package. I stated of course I did to try it on the bed but it never touched my persons as it was between the mattress which is new and the new pillow topper 4 inch. I told him it was in the original package and still brand new and he was free to take it out and look at it and even smell it as it was still brand new I work for the city here and have been so busy I couldnt come by and remembered I needed to return this one item. I explained I purchased at least a $1000 and more and was only returning 1 product but at that point asked myself why am I being given a hard time and why am I explaining anything as I didn`t do anything wrong and thought why keep coming here when I can go to Dillards right around the corner and don`t have to be treated like an indigent or given a hard time. I`m sure JC Penney`s can afford to lose valuable customers. Apparently these two night shift workers don`t uderstand the difference between a purchase and retention and that the real money is in keeping the paying customer coming back, sincerely a lost customer, hello Dillards!!!

Went this past weekend and this location had me wanting to leave about time I got to the changing room. I was rushing to get out of that hot store! I didn't not enjoy my experience shopping it was miserably hot through out the store and extra dingy everywhere I looked. For the prices being high on most items you would think it would feel more like an upscale store but it felt more like being in a dollar tree. I bought three items for a hundred dollars and will not be back due to high prices and nasty feeling atmosphere. the shirt I bought already has threads falling out. not worth $36.00 either.
UPDATE: Responded to the response on this review. Called and Nothing was resolved or sorted out. That was a waste of my time. I will not be shopping at ANY of the locations anymore. There are way better places to buy clothes that are actually good quality.
