They know that you don't have a choice and must pay the fee regardless of how much it is. Also I was so frustrated at how these things completely drain your battery. I have now gone through 2 batteries because of this stupid thing. These things are a huge battery hog, and I think if they can't figure out a way to make these things more friendly for your battery they should be reimbursing me for the amount of batteries that I have had to purchase for my truck!

The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
