  ⭐ 1-Star Review — Lifesafer Ignition Interlock ⭐ Lifesafer has been, without question, one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. From customer service to billing to device reliability, every part of the process has been a constant frustration and financial burden caused entirely by their own failures. Customer Service: Getting help is nearly impossible. Expect 2–3 hours on hold every time you call, only to reach someone who is rude, dismissive, and untrained. Representatives rarely understand their own policies, give conflicting answers, and show zero accountability or urgency. Their lack of professionalism makes an already stressful situation far worse. App, Website & Technology: Their app and website barely function. You cannot change appointments, update payment info, or access your account without endless errors. Pages crash, locations don’t load, and the system constantly claims your ZIP code can’t be found. Their advertised “live chat” is a complete scam — no one has ever been available. Device Reliability: The Lifesafer device randomly aborts tests, throws error codes, and freezes, leaving you stranded and forced to make unnecessary service visits. These failures are not user-related — they are equipment defects Lifesafer refuses to acknowledge. Their faulty hardware puts customers at risk of violations through no fault of their own. Billing & Fees: Their billing practices feel predatory. They charge for resets, calibrations, and visits caused by their own equipment failures, and they refuse refunds even when you provide receipts. Invoices are inconsistent, unclear, and designed to benefit the company, not the customer. Overall: Lifesafer is a company with broken technology, untrained staff, no customer support, and unethical billing. The time, money, and stress they cause is unacceptable. I strongly recommend avoiding Lifesafer and urge courts and monitoring agencies to consider better alternatives. No one should be stuck dealing with this level of incompetence.
