- AMAmanda McGuireOct 29, 20254.0I was surprised to see that a lot of the stores at The Woodlands Mall now close at 8 p.m. — I guess I’m still used to pre-COVID hours when they stayed open until 9. Several stores were already pulling down their gates or closing one entrance 10–15 minutes early, which was a little frustrating but understandable since employees are ready to go home. Parking around Dick’s Sporting Goods is always tough since it’s such a busy area with its own outside entrance. On top of that, I accidentally ended up with two left Nike shoes after a purchase — my fault for not double-checking, but it’s something the staff usually catch at checkout when they verify sizes. They didn’t this time, so I had to make an extra trip back the next day to exchange it. Overall, the mall is still nice and clean, but I miss the later hours and hope they can keep up a little more consistency at closing time and checkout.
