    When a store plans to ask customers to complete a survey, I would expect the overall experience to reflect strong service and attention to detail. In my case, the interaction started off a bit disappointing but ended on a very positive note, thanks to Ms. Mary. When I couldn’t find a particular item, I asked Ms. Mary, the only cashier operating the checkout, for help. She kindly asked Brae, who was nearby and not assisting any customers at the time, to check on the item. Without moving from her area, Brae simply said that if I didn’t see it, they must be out. That kind of response felt dismissive and didn’t demonstrate much interest in helping me as a customer. Thankfully, Ms. Mary did what great employees do, she took it upon herself to step away from her register, personally helped me search for the item, and to our delight, we actually found it! Her attitude, willingness to lend a hand, and genuine care turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a satisfying one. I want to give Ms. Mary full credit for going above and beyond. She is a wonderful example of what excellent customer service looks like, engaged, helpful, and truly invested in the customer’s experience. I also share this feedback in hopes that Brae can learn from it. Customers can feel when someone is only “being nice” at the end of an interaction versus when they are genuinely making an effort to help. Taking a moment to actively assist rather than assume goes a long way toward creating a positive experience, especially when surveys are used to measure satisfaction.

    I usually shop at this location because it’s close to my home, and I’ve generally had positive experiences. Recently, however, I had an issue that left me very disappointed with how it was handled. I ordered a Yeti pitcher in a specific color from another store location. When I arrived to pick it up, I noticed there were visible marks on the product. The employee there assured me it was the last one in stock and said the marks would likely come off with cleaning. Unfortunately, when I got home and tried to clean it, the marks did not come off. The next day, I went to the corporate store near my home hoping to exchange or return the item. Instead of helping resolve the issue, the staff refused to issue a refund and suggested that I had used or damaged the item myself, which was very frustrating and disappointing. I had simply tried to clean the marks as I was advised to do. I really did not want to drive all the way back to The Woodlands just to resolve the issue, so I contacted head office. Thankfully, a representative there stepped in and made things right by offering a refund. While I appreciate that the issue was ultimately resolved, the way this location handled a dissatisfied customer was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. As someone who shops at this store regularly because it’s convenient, I hope future situations like this are handled with more understanding and professionalism. I added some photos of other in store products just for comparison… and their return policy

    This place offers a lot of variety and good deals. Customer service will vary depending on each individual. Some staff members are great but some others seems to be not interested in working.
