  You won’t find service and selection like this anymore. Truly one of a kind store that focuses on having special pieces, without forgetting the classics. Ask about their vintage watches to see something special. I’ve been buying watches from them for years and are my go too.

  I trusted the high review and gave this store a chance, the worst and most costly mistake I ever made. Below is my unbiased assessment: Positive aspect: I purchased the Seiko Presage Cocktail (SRPE45) 2 days ago and I met the owner of the store. He was very knowledgeable about watches and friendly, even taking his time to explain to me how to change the date/time. A very first good impression, but my good experience ended right there. Negative aspect: Today (2 days after I purchased the watch) I wanted to go back for a return as the watch is overpriced (see the end of the comment) - I called the store, spoke with the owner, and he said there is no return policy (he never mentioned this in our original conversation even when I asked; it is completely hidden from the customer) but that I could exchange for another watch. I drove two hours to the store, with only 1 employee working. This worker did not want to help as the owner was not at the store; he completely disregarded the fact that I explained to him that I had spoken with the owner. After 15 minutes of explaining (begging) to the worker, he finally called the store owner (he could have done this in the first place) and the owner then stated that he had never talked to me (??). After another 30 minutes of back-and-forth, they finally let me exchange the watch. Of course, the worker had no idea about any watches and was completely useless throughout the whole transaction - couldn't even tell me a single thing about any of the watches in the store, constantly rushed me, and gave me attitude the entire time. The owner is a nice guy but I'm not sure why he decided to hire this guy or hide the return policy. The most important thing is there is no firm policy or any staff training in this store; they pick and choose their policy. -> All in all, if you want to adjust the bands or replace a battery, go during the day and you should be fine. I strongly advise against purchasing any watch from here, for all the reasons mentioned above, plus the price you get from elsewhere is much cheaper: The watch I bought from J.R.Brother is the SRPE45 for $480. The same version on Amazon is now selling for $370. My exchanged watch from J.R.Brother is the SEIKO SSK011 Presage for $620. The same version on Amazon is $469.
