  I had such a lovely experience here! I’m pretty self conscious and wanted to purchase my first pair of jeans in many years. Sabrina was incredibly helpful and hyped me up and didn’t do it in a sales person way, I feel like she was so genuine. I’m very happy with my purchase and cant wait to rock my new jeans with confidence! Thanks Sabrina ❤️

  This is from a husband's point of view who visited the store with his wife. I observed horrible customer service not just with the service given to my wife but with the service given to other customers. When we entered the store we weren't greeted. Madewell is a sister company with J.Crew and they have similar expectations with how employees are supposed to treat customers. J.Crew La Cantera is exemplary with this area in Madewell fails horribly. But it didn't used to I would relate this to store management. There were about six employees standing around. Talking to each other. I personally made eye contact with two of them and they never greeted me. My wife made eye contact with a few and they never greeted her. Despite the high level of employees in the store there was no customer service. I observed about 15 other customers in the store and they also didn't receive customer service or were greeted. My wife had to grab her own fitting room and needed an additional size but when exiting the fitting room made eye contact with an employee who couldn't have cared less. I also observed the employee that was at the register on her phone tapping away. Ignoring customers who were right in front of her. Madewell is an exemplary brand with exemplary quality but it's marred by the lack of customer loyalty at the store level. Compare this with JCrew, it's a night and day difference. The management at JCrew La Cantera went above and beyond in helping customers, but what I observed from Madewell is unacceptable. District management needs to look at this store and make difficult decisions to it's leadership. If you don't believe me then maybe you should do a secret shopper and see for yourself.
