- AMAndrew MartinezFeb 22, 20241.0LifeSafer is the biggest scam company in ignition interlock if I could give negative stars I would. I was quoted $82 a month and my first bill comes in and is $270 for the first month.. I called and they still haven’t gotten back to me 4 days later. I got a violation for “refusal” to test when I parked my car, took out the keys and got out and didn’t hear the beep to blow in the breathalyzer. For that they charged me an $80 reset fee. If you don’t like working with company and want to switch to another interlock it’s another $250 early termination fee. Their customer service team is rude and doesn’t have any empathy whatsoever. This company takes advantage of people who are court ordered to get an ignition interlock. Stay away from this company and go to Smart start for ignition interlock. Brothers sound is awesome but not the company they work with.
