    Lisa in the jewelry department and Terry the supervisor refused to process my return despite the item being unused and within the 60 day window. Said I needed to return it to the store I originally purchased it at, but when I called customer service and looked on their website, they informed me that that was not true and that I should be able to return it to any JCPenney's. I spoke with the supervisor again and told her that customer service told me that she was not correct and she still refused saying “We don't accept returns from that location” and when I asked why she just kept repeating “We don't accept those returns. We don't accept those returns." without actually giving me a valid reason. My assumption is that they don’t want the return to be reflected on their sales, which is petty, unfair, and unprofessional. **Update** So I went back to return the item today, two days later, and as I am approaching the counter Terry herself is standing there talking shit about me and the situation to two other people. They see me and get silent and I make a comment along the lines of “sounds like y’all are talking about me” and she ignores me. I say that I am back to return the item, and she say that corporate themselves say that I have to go to the original store. I tell her that that’s interesting because I spoke with corporate and her store manager Myra and they both said I could return it. She said that Myra is on vacation, and I tell her Myra called me the day before saying she was in, and that she said she’d be in tomorrow as well but that they were welcome to call her right then if they wanted. One of the three did eventually break off and call her behind a register. Terry got irritated and said “just do it” to Lisa and walked away. Lisa ended up doing the return, and was very pleasant. But Terry is extremely rude, and just a malignant person.

    I bought my daughter a gold bangle with the warranty at the JC Penney in Tucson Az and came to San Antonio to spend Christmas with her and the family. She just opened her gift yesterday for Christmas. Unfortunately it was a little to big so we went to this JC Penney to return it. However we were not allowed to get a redund for the $29 warranty. The associate said we only had a week to get a refund for the warranty. First I was never informed about that aibhad only one week to get the money back from the warranty! Second there is nothing about it in writing! Which makes no sense because it was a gift! She just opened it yesterday!!! The associate also called 2 managers/supervisor and they both said no!!! I spend a lot of money at JC Penney and fir them not to honor $29 refund I don't understand!!! Very disappointing especially since no manager or supervisor came to talk with bus. Like we weren't important!!!!! Unhappy customer!!

    under horrible management and so disrespectful, i asked one of the girls if i could have a bag for my purchase and she rudely tells me “1.99 each”. girl it’s 1.99, relax. i understand they’re going bankrupt but charging 1.99 for the bag is insane after spending all this money on their clothing. def never recommending this location to anyone ever!!!!

    The Salon needs to get it together, crazy how the younger employees care about their job and clients more than the older ones just seems super unprofessional to me but If it wasn’t for Alyssa and Vanessa I wouldn’t come back. So by all means, keep them they will keep my business! You can feel how awkward it is in the room. So personally I think something needs to be done about that.
