There’s about an 80 year old man working in the firearms department that has absolutely no business working in that section. I brought in a pistol for an estimate for trade in, they aren’t that busy, yet I’m standing around for about 40 minutes, finally they call my name and tell the guy why I’m there, he goes to the back and finally this old man walks out from the back, gives me my lowball and I say “no thank you” so he goes to the back to retrieve my firearm and comes walking out with my pistol case, walks me all the way to the front, opens my pistol case and the pistol isn’t in there, he grabs the mag loader Glock includes in all their guns, looks under it and puts it to the side of the case, grabs the magazine and does the same thing, what is going on? So I said “the box is empty” and he says “oh yeah I forgot it let me go get it” how can you not tell the difference between a lb empty case and a case with a pistol in it? And the lowball offer they gave me was atrocious. I asked him who evaluated the pistol, he said he did. I can guarantee you he has no idea what a red dot is. Probably thinks it’s built into the gun, and I can bet my savings he can’t tell the difference between a performance trigger and a stock trigger.

I recently visited Bass Pro Shop and had a fantastic experience, primarily due to the outstanding customer service provided by Alex L. From the moment I walked in, Alex greeted me with a friendly smile and was eager to assist.
What stood out most was Alex's extensive knowledge about the products. While I was looking for gloves, he engaged me in a light-hearted conversation, even making jokes about the crossbows. His humor made the shopping experience not only enjoyable but also informative.
Alex took the time to help me choose the right gloves for my needs, ensuring I understood the features and benefits of each option. His enthusiasm for the products and willingness to share information truly made my visit memorable.
Overall, my experience at Bass Pro Shop was greatly enhanced by Alex L.'s exceptional customer service, combining friendliness, knowledge, and a great sense of humor. I left the store satisfied with my purchase and a smile on my face.
