Please stop trying to sell vacations/timeshares or whatever it is in the store (I'm assuming it's an 3rd party vendor), it's very annoying being cornered by pushy salesmen every time I walk by that area. I don't go to BPS looking for a vacation rental. Otherwise, no issues with the store.

Stood at the gun counter for over 20 minutes, and received no help. Didn't even get an acknowledgement from the staff. I'd understand if they were busy, but they absolutely were not. Only 1 transaction going the entire time I was standing there.

I was one of three people in line at the firearms counter. Two people were being helped while I was next in the online queue. The online queue grew steadily as the two elderly men behind the counter struggled to help their customers. I noticed my name got skipped and when I asked why my name had not been called I was informed by another customer that they had said it, but I did not hear it despite being at the other end of the counter looking at pistols. When I brought this up, the man behind the counter said "rejoin the line" without looking up. I walked out and went to Cabela's instead and was in and out within 45min with exactly what I needed. I will not be coming to this location again.

We had 2 separate reservations for Christmas Santa photos Christmas Eve at 1:15pm and 1:45pm. This Santa was the grouchiest rudest Santa ever. Not kid friendly at all. As soon as my grandkids got to Santa he started telling us to hurry up saying other people were waiting. This was after 15 seconds or so. And we had TWO reservations. Other parents were also commenting on how unfriendly this Santa was. This Santa barely communicated with the kids and never even smiled. The workers who took photos were not much better. If employees are stressed and miserable then maybe they should work somewhere else instead. Like maybe Walmart? We then went to the Fish Bowl restaurant to get the kids ice cream. Our female server obviously went to the same training class as Santa and the photo employees. We tried to order ice cream and she said “We are out of ice cream”. She didn’t say “sorry” or any friendly response at all. We then try to order the kids chicken tenders and she flatly said “ we are out of chicken”. I said “maybe it would be easier for you to just tell us what you do have”. This obviously upset her because she glared and said “we have everything else on the menu”. Well the lack of chicken and ice cream actually limited kids to several things like quesadillas and other kids specialty drinks. We ended up ordering cheese burgers and I jokingly told my daughter “they are out of cheese”. She didn’t appreciate my humor and responded “We DO have cheese! So much for trying to add levity to the situation. Needless to say, the bar back took over for her. The bar back was much better and friendly which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one star. How could a place that regularly serves food be out of two major categories of food? Overall the whole Bass Pro experience was terrible.

Chris in the firearms section was the one who sold us our gun and walked us through everything from start to finish. He was extremely knowledgeable, made sure we got exactly what fit our needs, and was great to talk to the whole time. He even shared some cool fishing stories. Honorable mention to Robert for keeping us company with good conversation while we waited on the background check. Great guys all around.
