  I am Livid. Me and my mother just went to JC penny’s and as we walk in we didn’t feel welcome. We got dirty looks and we got racially profiled. Then we will called them and tried to report the issue they hanged up on us. Terrible location

  We arrived 5 minutes early for their monthly craft only to arrive to a table that had already been decimated. We noticed many families leaving with handfuls of supplies (even though they only had one or two children with them). When we questioned this, we were told simply “we decided to put them out early”. We had to leave with an extremely disappointed 3 year, and saw many families having to do the same. Honestly not good enough on JCPenny’s behalf.

  I called today at 6:26pm regarding 2 items I was missing in my in store order I picked up yesterday. Ms. Judy answered the phone and asked me to hold on as she has customers. I did not have a problem because I understand I worked in retail before. After about 17 minutes, someone hung the phone without picking up and providing customer service. I called again at 6:44pm, and I said I was on hold and someone hung up the phone. I dont know who answered this time but she proceeded to say, "have you been helped, I didn't know you were on the phone." I felt rushed and I really didn't get an answer. I called again at 6:48pm to speak to the store manager. The operator told me the store manager is not here. I told him, you have to have a manager on duty, may I speak to that person. She gets on the phone. I stated my number and asked her how are you. She says, "Fine ", really short and really rude. Then she rudely said, "I am really busy so can I get your name and number and I will call you back. I told no, I am contacting corporate. She apologized but I said it is okay I am calling corporate. I understand it is the holiday season and it is super busy I have worked in retail before; however, I am a firm believer in customer service. I was not rude, therefore, I do not believe i deserve to be treated how I was treated.
