This location is top notch. I have always had a great experience with everyone here at this location, but Walter is the BEST. Every time I go here he has a smile on his face, always welcoming, willing to help, and answer's all of my questions. I recently had issues with my device and I called Walter and he saved the day! This location exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend!!!
Keep up the good work....You're doing a Great Job!

The prices I received over the phone was 100% false! The $40 enrollment fee wasn't even mentioned when I signed up over the phone.
I just saw it in my account. When I wrote to my appointment also the installation price was completely different and the monthly was as well 100% different then what I was promised over the ohone.
As far as the machine goes, I don't have any issues with itself but it's starting to ruin some sensors my music/sound cuts off for a sec or two randomly.
The guy who installed recommended I should take breatherlizer thing with me when it's too hot or too cold or it would possibly take longer to start. When I got home I almost took off the machine from it's cable and realized that sounded very stupid and would cause problems.
I still don't understand wdf he was talking about!!!!!
I couldn't change companies anymore due time limitation on my case.
I do not recommend this place at all!

You may also be asked to bring any documents that pertain to your case, depending on the state in which you or your program are located. If any other documents are required, one of our friendly Program Advisors will let you know.
How do I know if Smart Start's devices are compliant with my program?
Smart Start is a NHTSA certified Ignition Interlock provider, so we’re able to meet all of the alcohol monitoring authority’s requirements to ensure that you’re compliant within your state or county.
How often does my Ignition Interlock Device need to be serviced?

What do I need for removal?
Requirements will differ by state, but generally your state authority must grant removal authorization before you can have your IID removed. You will then need to fill out the Device Removal Request form on our website and upload any official documentation that may be required to authorize the removal.
Do I need an Interlock Device on all of my vehicles?
Some states will require that you have an Ignition Interlock Device installed on all cars registered to you, but most states will just require that whichever vehicle you drive have an IID installed. Check with your state authority to see if you will need an IID installed on all of your cars.
Does the Interlock Device mess up or hurt my vehicle?
No, Smart Start's Ignition Interlock Device (IID) will not hurt your vehicle in any way. Our service technicians are the best in the business and are able to install on all vehicles, even hybrids and electric cars!
How long does it take to install an Ignition Interlock Device?
The time required for an Interlock installation will depend on your type of vehicle but we recommend blocking off at least two hours to make sure you are prepared to not miss any other appointments or work.

How do I use an Interlock Device?

How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.
What can breathalyzers detect?
Breathalyzers only measure your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC).
Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?
Ignition Interlock and handheld breathalyzers both test your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), but an Ignition Interlock Device is only installed in vehicles and prevents the car from starting if there is alcohol detected. A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
Can I unplug my Ignition Interlock?
Check with your state authority to see if you are allowed to unplug your Ignition Interlock before doing so.
Can someone else drive my car?
Yes, but whoever is driving the vehicle MUST take a breath test and pass before driving. Any failed test will still be your responsibility.
