    Title: Terrible Warranty Service and Unresolved Boat Defect – Avoid Bass Tracker I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with both the warranty process and the customer service for my Bass Tracker boat. After having the boat at their location for over four months, they told me they wouldn’t cover the defect under warranty, despite it being clearly a manufacturing issue. The issue started when I noticed air bubbles appearing on the paint after about 6 months of ownership. Initially, I thought it was just a cosmetic issue, but as time went on, the paint came off, revealing a clear hole through the boat’s frame. This was obviously not normal wear and tear—this was a serious defect in the workmanship. The company blamed the problem on the battery charger, claiming that was the cause of the issue. However, we had already disconnected the charger when we realized it was no longer working, so that explanation doesn’t hold up. It's clear to me this was a structural defect that shouldn’t have happened with a boat of this quality. What’s worse is that during the entire four months my boat was with them for repairs, I received no communication. Not a single call or email to update me, answer questions, or address concerns. I was left in the dark and had to constantly reach out for updates. Their lack of communication and customer care was absolutely frustrating. In the end, they refused to honor their warranty, leaving me with a boat that’s now unusable and a bad experience that I wouldn’t wish on anyone. I’m warning others to be cautious before purchasing an aluminum Bass Tracker. It seems like their warranty isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, and their customer service is nonexistent.

    Shopping here has become a scheme dodging activity. They are pushing credit cards at the entrance, Hilton timeshares while shopping, and selling "protection" at the exit. There is not one step in the Bass Pro/Cabelas shopping process where you aren't being approached by someone selling something you aren't there for. Time shares??? What are we doing?? Makes me dread stepping foot in a place that I used to LOVE shopping at. Please fix this.

From the moment I walked up, he was friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in helping me find the right gear—not just trying to make a sale. What impressed me most was how he listened. He asked smart questions, gave thoughtful recommendations, and explained the pros/cons of different options without rushing me. You can tell he knows his stuff and takes pride in making sure customers walk away confident in their purchase. Customer service like this is rare. If you need someone who will take the time to help you make the right choice, go see Dewayne. Bass Pro Shops is lucky to have him. He’s a pro!
