  I bought a pair of shoes last week, and when I got home and tried it again and was little uncomfortable, I went back to Steve madden katy milI mall to return it and the lady said its worn I said no, because I never wear them outside and she was so rude and no manners. She refused to returned it, and when I asked to talk to the manager she said im the manager, she was a Spanish lady and she said her name is Brenda, im shocked how they put this people as a manager and dont even know how to provide a good customer service politely, disappointed with this store and this lady(Brenda), I had the worse experience, I went to Galleria mall and returned them there, the employee were very professional and greet me with a smile and returned it without any problem, they need to go to Galleria mall for training and how to treat a customer. In the end the customer is the one who pays your salary.

  Very disappointing experience. I purchased a pair of shoes that already appeared lightly used at the time of purchase, but I assumed that wouldn’t be an issue. After trying them on at home and realizing they were too tight, I returned to the store to make a return. I was told the shoes were “too worn” to be accepted - which is frustrating considering they already looked used when sold to me and were only tried on indoors for fit. Expecting customers to determine proper fit without actually wearing the shoes is unrealistic. The rigid policy and lack of accountability left a bad impression. I would strongly recommend inspecting items carefully before purchasing, because this store offers little to no flexibility once you leave.
