I have been coming here since it opened. It is a very nice mall, it still has some good name brand store here, the Bass Pro Shops is still here and it is a big one also. There are plenty of parking space here. It is a great indoor space to be in during hot Summer time.

This mall is clean and well maintained. Great store choices and deals. Lots of things for a day out with your kids including Tilt the game room, and i door slides, small play ground, movie theater, outdoor Dig World, etc. and loads of places to eat. A great space to get out of the Texas heat

I’m shocked at how bad Katy Mills has gotten lately. The restrooms are absolutely disgusting, dirty floors, overflowing trash, and a smell that makes it clear they’re not being cleaned regularly. It’s honestly one of the worst parts of visiting now. The outside of the building isn’t any better, trash all around, and overflowing bins near the entrances. It gives off a neglected, run-down look before you even step inside. What’s even worse is the security. They never seem to be around until something serious happens. Instead of being proactive and visible to prevent issues, they only respond after there’s already a problem. It makes the whole place feel unsafe and poorly managed. Katy Mills used to be clean and family-friendly, but now it feels like no one cares about maintaining it. I really hope they bring in better management and staff who actually take pride in keeping the mall safe and clean again.

I’ve been to Katy Mills many times over the years, but my most recent visit was really disappointing. The mall has gone downhill in terms of cleanliness and customer service. The housekeeping staff seemed disorganized, and the restrooms were in terrible condition, trash overflowing, wet floors, and a bad smell that clearly hadn’t been addressed all day, To make matters worse, I had a frustrating encounter with one of the housekeeping managers named Raphael. Instead of being helpful or professional when I tried to bring up the cleanliness issue, he was dismissive and rude. It felt like he didn’t care at all about maintaining standards or customer experience. Security wasn’t much better, there were groups causing disturbances in several areas, and no one seemed to be monitoring or stepping in. It just didn’t feel safe or well-managed overall,Katy Mills used to be a clean, family-friendly place, but lately, it’s been poorly maintained and badly managed. I really hope corporate steps in to make some improvements because right now, it’s not somewhere I’d recommend visiting.

Visited Katy,Texas recently. Have had the opportunity to visit many malls, but Katy Mills was the most unique, one level mall we’ve ever encountered. First, it’s a climate controlled indoor shopping mall with a “racetrack design” that has a walking track that goes through the shopping and dining areas. We were then surprised to encounter Rainforest Café, Outdoor World and a Slick City Action Park. Has upscale stores like Steve Madden, Coach, Banana Republic, even a Bass Pro Shop and a Police Department Substation, 172 stores. The atmosphere felt safe, clean and friendly. If you ever have the chance to visit Katy with its many beautiful shopping venues, this is the one you’ll want to experience.
