  I chose to use my $5 birthday reward at AE today, hoping to treat myself and enjoy a good shopping experience. I had already been shopping at other stores in the mall, and overall my day was going well. Unfortunately, that changed the moment I walked into this location. There was no greeting at all no acknowledgment whatsoever. I tried to brush it off and not let it affect me, especially since it was my birthday and just getting out of bed today was already a big step for me. After picking out my items, I went to the checkout and waited patiently. The associate, whose name was Morgan, provided no customer serviceno “hello,” no “thank you,” nothing. The interaction felt cold and dismissive. As a paying customer, I spent my money here even with a $5 reward, I still spent $23. Every customer deserves to feel acknowledged and respected. The experience left me questioning whether I was treated this way because of how I look, and that’s not a good feeling to walk away with. Where I spend my money matters, and based on this experience, I won’t be returning to this location. On a positive note, I received amazing customer service at Bath & Body Works during the same visit. From the moment I walked in to the moment I left, I felt welcomed and appreciated. That’s the standard every store should strive for.

  I had ordered a set of pajamas online and threw away the cardboard and tag to put it in the laundry. Before washing I noticed the security tag was still on the pajama pants. I came in the store to have them remove the tag. The store associate asked me if I had the cardboard it came with. NO, why would I, I plan on keeping the pajamas. Then she asks me to show her my online receipt, which I did. She then proceeds to tell me that next time a manager would not take the security tag off if I dont have the cardboard that goes with it. Are you kidding me?! Not all clothing items have a stupid piece of cardboard attached and I have my online receipt to prove proof of purchase. This store associate was RUDE and condescending. Worst customer service I have ever received. They better hope there isn't a next time where I receive an online order with the stupid security tag still attached to the clothing.

  I'm a believer! Aerie was such a difference experience and such a welcoming environment. Jazz made me feel heard and everything went so well. Truly went far and beyond for me. 🥺❤️
