  Very horrible jewelry department. Which is disappointing because that’s where you spend the most money at this store. I bought a chain with protection plan, it broke, I came in to drop the chain off for repair. Lady there told me it would take 3-6 weeks because they ship it off to tennessee. Which in my opinion isn’t far from texas but besides the point. So I wait for three weeks and TRY to call for an update. Jewelry dept. DOES NOT answer their phones. They must have it on permanently silent. Just letting it ring. So I call customer service. They have to take down my info and hand walk it to jewelry department in order to get an answer from them because customer service cannot pull it up themselves. now I’m waiting for a call back from jewelry department, which I’m sure will never come so I have to take time out of my busy schedule to go over there and talk to them in person. I’m not sure who the manager is but they need to talk to this jewelry department because they have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced in a store. I hope my chain gets fixed, I get it back and never have to deal with them again.

  Just had to add this because it was such an outstanding display of customer service. The manager/ owner (Steven) was incredibly helpful not only to customers around us but also to the other employees nearby. He first noticed that we were holding a few items of clothing and asked if he could grab us a cart, then when The checkout line was backed up he coordinated getting things moving quicker, while uplifting the atmosphere in a positive and fun way. Definitely will be returning and always appreciate a display of genuine service to others. Above and beyond 10/10

  Amazing prices on Serta and Beautyrest mattresses. Super comfy!!!! Like a cloud.

  Don’t buy anything from the beauty department at this JCPenney, you won’t be able to return it even if you purchased it within the last 2-3days. They aren’t helpful. The girl at the desk had zero clue what she was talking about or what to do and told me I would have to go to the JCPenney store 45 minutes away Where I originally purchased the item just to return it, even though JCPenney isn’t a franchise. She was able to scan the item and tell me exactly how much I paid for it, but refused to complete the return out of incompetence. I really haven’t shopped at JCPenney for years, and I wish I wouldn’t have and will continue to not shop at JCPenney moving forward.
