- JCJohn CattoniJul 16, 20252.0Tiffany and Company at this particular location doesn’t have the slightest desire to help authenticate jewelry sold by them even though 80% of the jewelry out there these days is counterfeit from Tiffany and Company. I would think that they would be more than happy to authenticate jewelry pieces that have Serial numbers inscribed in them. I think that’s because the people selling the jewelry don’t really have a clue of what they’re selling especially this particular woman that I spoke to that said she had been there for 30 years. Very standoffish not typical to somebody you would meet in a Tiffany company jewelry store
