Smart Start’s phone billing rep, Monica, was unprofessional and hostile, rather than helpful. I am now having to change service centers to correct problems that should not have occurred. I would strongly advise clients to verify all charges in writing.

What do I need to bring to my installation?
Bring a photo ID and proof of residence in the form of a document verifying your address. How does an Interlock Device work?
When you blow into your Ignition Interlock Device, you're providing a breath test sample in order to start the vehicle. The device then measures your Breath Alcohol Concentration (BrAC), and will either say that you passed, need to retest, or failed. You will be asked to take rolling retests throughout your drive.

Is an Ignition Interlock the same as a breathalyzer?

A handheld breathalyzer only detects alcohol and may tell you the concentration.
