  After moving back to Houston I was shocked to find that Half Price Books is no longer at the West University location. I was not believing it because it was always a wonderful place to go and so BUSY. It literally brought SO much business to the retail area there that they should have given them DISCOUNT to have their business grace this spot. When I found out that it was the opposing reason....that the owner of this property was so GREEDY that they were wanting so much of an increase in rent that Half Price could no longer afford to rent the space I felt so sad. The PEOPLE that live here and there CHILDREN enjoyed this place so much...... I have noticed a disturbing trend in Houston since I have returned. People are LIVING in their offices'. YES this is not a typo. I noticed it first on Richmond ave. I mentioned something about it and the lighting was changed at night to make it look less obvious that what I had seen could be confirmed. This is what has happened to this country under a Real Estate FAILURE became President of this country. He now has a financially viable business...100 million in some offshore Bond Market account and Americans are LIVING in their OFFICES because they can't afford to pay rent for a business and a home. WAY to Go REPUBLICANS. WE will NEVER fully recover from turning the ENTIRE COUNTRY into New York City. My Sister lived there when she was working in Banking....She lived in tiny apt the size of most people's kitchens. And it took half her salary. This is DISGUSTING. Also only about 30 percent of retail centers are leased as the other businesses have gone bust...because of RENT being so high. My first boyfriend had started investing in Real Estate in the 80's. He was an entrepreneur and would build and sell businesses. I remember him saying...One of these days the owners of these retail strips will actually be getting "a piece of the Business" to rent the space. That time is definitely HERE. And the RESULT is that Houston went from Texas' "International " City .....to Texas' 3rd World City. WAY to go Greedy People. You have turned this Big Bad City into a dirty stinking Rat Trap.

  Clean,organized, manga section not well stocked. I was able to sell manga and figures here. PSA to all manga buyers:- don’t buy too much manga when you don’t have stable jobs, then you will be forced to sell them for $75 when you paid for $300. No matter how good the condition is.
