    Update: Best Buy called me and scheduled an appointment to relocate the appliances. Order #: 1126003182181 . My experience with Best Buy has been one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. This company deserves 5 stars for customer dissatisfaction and zero for customer satisfaction. I purchased four major appliances from Best Buy: a refrigerator, stove, washer, and dryer. The in-store associate was polite and helpful, and that was the only positive part of this entire experience. Everything went downhill on delivery day. The delivery crew refused to deliver the washer and dryer on the second floor of my house and instead dumped them in my garage. This was unacceptable—especially since the associate explicitly confirmed ahead of time that second-floor delivery and placement were included. I spent over two hours on the phone with customer service, being transferred endlessly between departments. In the end, the response I received was essentially: “There’s nothing we can do for you.” It’s clear that Best Buy’s customer service is outsourced to disconnected work-from-home agents who have no authority, no accountability, and no connection to reality. As a last attempt, I used the online chat. The agent was courteous and promised to escalate the issue, assuring me I would receive a call within 24–48 hours. Of course, no one ever called. The washer and dryer are still sitting in my garage. My request is extremely simple: come back and place the appliances where they were supposed to go, not where the delivery driver felt like leaving them. Best Buy uses a cheap third-party delivery company (XPO). The delivery person, Aldo, was careless, literally throwing the washer and dryer into my garage and flat-out refusing to take them upstairs. This is what happens when a large corporation grows so big that it loses control—too many departments, no ownership, and zero quality control. I will never purchase appliances from Best Buy again, and I strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with large or expensive items. (Chat screenshots attached.     Got a great deal on a laptop. Staff was very nice. They have a lot of appliances and TVs. This is an outlet store so items are ranked fair to excellent. Worth the trip!

    #BuyerBewareOfBestBuy. Had an appointment to get my new dishwasher installed since Saturday with #BestBuy from 7:30 am - 11:30 am today. They cancelled the delivery and did not tell me. I called when they were late and they told me at noon (after thirty minutes on the phone on hold) that they arbitrarily decided to cancel the delivery. No apologies. No explanation. No reason given. They didn’t even bother to tell me they cancelled the delivery they just cancelled it and then put me through phone system hell for thirty minutes. They now want to deliver two weeks after the original purchase date and will not compensate me for delivery fees. Still no apologies or explanation. They refused to escalate this and said that they don’t escalate problems to managers and if I wanted it to go to anyone else I would have to wait 24-48 hours for a call back. I really hate BestBuy. This is why they are going out of business. Be careful making any purchases from them. They are shady. #BestBuySucks #BeetBuyScam

    To my knowledge all items are open box but that doesn't mean it's unused or recently purchased, our experience with the refrigerator the screen and compressor both went bad shortly after purchase, luckily Samsung honored the manufacturer warranty, the clothes washing machine is making noise when spinning, after checking it was missing mounting brackets, so items had issues and they claim that only cosmetic like dent or scratch, I would not buy from them again but it's may worth the risk if it's less than half the price of new

    (Updated on 1/7/2026) Two GE (Bodewell Appliances) technicians came to my residence on 1/6/2026, and they were prepared to replace 2 control boards. Once they pulled the unit out of the cabinet, they discovered that one of the "hot" wires was disconnected inside the junction box. They also identified that the "armored cable leads supplied with the appliance" was flattened near the end of the wires. Because of which, they suggested that I consider returning the unit. However, after some testing, they determined that the appliance's wires were not compromised. They went on to test wires coming out of the junction box and confirmed the required voltages. They re-connected the wires and put the unit back to the cabinet. The unit's control boards were not replaced, and the oven appeared to be working. I acknowledged that my original 1-star negative review on 12/24/2025 was misled by the initial diagnosis, thus this update to a 5-star review. Over the past few weeks, I have received prompt and attentive responses from Best Buy customer service on Facebook. And I would like to take this opportunity to thank them (Bobby & Ryan) for a satisfactory resolution. (Original post on 12/24/2025) Bought an open-box GE JK3800SHSS 27 inch Built-In Combination Microwave/Thermal Wall Oven and picked up at Best Buy Outlet - Houston on 12/13/2025. Price was good, and the product webpage displayed the unit was in "Good Condition*" and claimed it was certified to work like new. Once installed at home, the upper microwave did work, but the lower oven did not work. Error message: "Communication Error with the Lower Oven." After 10 days, a GE technician came to my residence and made a diagnose that both "computers" (control boards) need to be replaced during a follow-up visit one week out. Best Buy Outlet should not have sold a defective unit. They should have conducted a thorough test on the open-box unit before selling it to the next customer (me). It's holiday season... My family needs an oven to bake dishes. Frustrating! *Geek Squad Verified Works like new. Restored to factory settings. May have minor scratches or dents. May be missing non-essential parts, accessories, or packaging.
