  Workers were SO insanely hostile and unprofessional. I was about to check out with well over $300 worth of clothes but left due to the rude Asian lady with awful blue contacts working the dressing rooms and the odd & judgmental workers standing over you shopping rather than offering to assist. A message to the workers - you are making barely above minimum wage and are not above the paying customers trying to just get clothes. Hope you all grow up very soon and choose to be kinder🩷

  For a brand that positions itself as high-end with premium prices, the in-store gifting experience at Alo is surprisingly cheap and disappointing. I went in specifically to purchase gifts and was shocked that: No tissue paper was placed in the shopping bag, no sleeves or envelopes were available for gift cards and Zero effort was made to make the purchase feel like a gift At these price points, basic presentation should be a given—not an upsell or an afterthought. For comparison, Lululemon consistently does a much better job: thoughtful packaging, proper gift presentation, and an experience that actually matches what you’re paying.

  I visited this location to exchange an item I ordered online that didn’t fit. I specifically chose this store to avoid the Galleria because that location is always extremely busy but unfortunately, this experience was far worse. Although I understand this is a newer store, the staff seemed completely unprepared and incompetent. It felt like they were thrown onto the floor with little to no training. The customer service was disappointing from start to finish and made the entire visit unpleasant. I genuinely left feeling like I was doing the associate’s job for her. I had to pay a price difference for the “exchange” of the exact same item that they were going to reorder for me online, which was never explained to me. I didn’t understand why I had to pay more for the same product and the associate didn’t have an answer for me. She said she would refund my card and I asked instead if the balance could be placed on a gift card instead just to make it easier . Only then was I told, “Oh, the card has already been refunded,”. Situations like that are common sense in retail……especially with a competitor like Lululemon located right across the street. Overall, this experience has completely turned me off from shopping at ALO. I will NEVER return to this location. Customer service is ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! EDIT- I went to the galleria location today and they ended up refunding me for the difference I was forced to pay at the rice village location for my exchange. SMH. Employees need more training here at the rice village location. Not a good look for ALO at all.

  I would give 0 stars if I could, but I can’t so you’ll get this review. Staff is TERRIBLE. Where is the customer experience and customer service at. You walk in and the person just says “Hello” doesn’t ask “what brought me in” or “if I need help with anything”. Then the store is super small and the select is not it. The staff is also rude and make snarky comments.

  It’s the holiday season and the place was a mad house (the store just opened) The store manager I believe he introduced himself as Brandon could not have been any more helpful and kind! The Brand is strong.
