- ARAlizsa RaquelSep 25, 20251.0Our SA was Gwen, and from start to finish the experience was disappointing. When we first arrived, we asked for the black jelly sandals. She brought out the sizes, and hours later when we returned ready to purchase, her demeanor had completely changed. She was quiet, dismissive, and unprofessional throughout the process. At one point I asked, “Are those new?” and her response was, “Obviously, they’re all new.” When I clarified that I meant if they were the floor model, she smirked and continued with an attitude. At checkout, she told us that they didn’t have Valentino paper bags, only plain white ones—something I’ve never encountered at any luxury boutique. The entire interaction made us feel like we were being looked down on, as if we didn’t belong there. Immediately after, we went to Chanel next door and had the complete opposite experience: warm, friendly, and professional service. Based on this visit alone, I would never return to Valentino. Luxury shopping should feel elevated and welcoming, not dismissive and condescending.
