Was so excited when I heard Primark was coming to Houston, I lived in England for a while and this was a go to! But I was heavily disappointed, this feels more like a Disney clothing store than Primark.. where is the home section and kitchenware?

OMG, I first discovered Primark when I traveled to the UK 🇬🇧 and used to stock up on so much of their merchandise to bring back to the U.S. So when I found out they finally opened a location here in Houston, I was so excited and knew I had to check it out. I was honestly very impressed from the moment I walked in. Since it’s the holiday season, I fully expected clothes to be everywhere and the store to feel chaotic—but I was pleasantly shocked by how organized and neat everything was. The store was well laid out, racks were tidy, and nothing felt overwhelming. I also noticed a lot of employees throughout the store, and they were clearly working hard. Everyone looked focused on keeping things organized and running smoothly, which I really appreciated—especially as a shopper navigating the store with a toddler and an infant in a stroller. The space itself is roomy enough to move around comfortably without constantly bumping into racks or people, which made the experience so much more enjoyable. Another huge plus was the self-checkout area. The line moved incredibly fast—I don’t think I waited more than a minute, which is honestly shocking during the holidays. I ended up buying a few things (definitely less than I normally would, but that’s only because I was shopping with two kids 😂). Overall, I loved this location and had such a great experience. I’m so happy Primark is finally in Houston, and I can’t wait to come back when I have a little more time to really shop.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Primark store. What should have been a simple and smooth transaction turned into a complete mess. The staff were not helpful at all and failed to provide a clear or proper explanation as to why the transaction could not be completed. They were unable to handle even a few cents difference on the card or offer an alternative solution such as proper change, which made the situation unnecessarily frustrating. Instead of assisting or resolving the issue professionally, the situation was handled poorly. There was a female staff member named Rho, who I believe is the manager, and she walked away in the middle of the issue without resolving it or explaining next steps. This felt very unprofessional and dismissive. Overall, the lack of customer support, poor communication, and unprofessional behavior made this a very negative experience. I expect much better customer service from a retail store like Primark.

If you dont know any better this is good on the surface. However, I've been going to Primark since they first one came out in NYC and since have been to other Primarks in other parts of the U.S. and in other countries. This one here is way more expensive...for no reason. This is Texas!!!! Why am I paying so much more where the cost of living is much lower??!! Make it make sense. I will say that it is clean and organized but the fact that I have to drive all the way out to Katy and then have to pay extra for what is much cheaper in NYC, Chicago and even London is wild. I'll go if I need to get my basics but not something I would go out may way to just shop.
